Among the hundreds, if not thousands, of HDTVs, both major brands and "universal"s, this LG 42PT350 was one of 8 models that Consumer Reports actually recommended, not only for rentals, but in all sizes, prices and formats that by Consumer tested are Reports. for purchase. . I ordered this device mainly based on this review and this set did not disappoint. The fit and finish is exceptional, the "thin ring" edges are really so thin they almost disappear. Don't worry about the looks of this 720 kit because it looks amazing. I went against the majority and bought a plasma set to make sure that the nearly 180 degree seats around the set would be visible to everyone, and I'm so glad I did. The "Starter Kit" is only valuable because the features it offers for self-optimizing image construction compare well to professional screen construction if you have the method. Go get it!

Delivery was very fast, ordered on Sunday, received next Friday with standard shipping. Image quality is fantastic, although white could be a little better. The real downside is the stand, the stand is terrible, it wobbles a lot and does not support the device at all, the next day I hung this TV on the wall, but I wanted to try it overnight before solving the problem, I was afraid . to fall The menu is easy to navigate. Factory settings have too much green and red. The sound is good. Once the image is set, it's great.

UPDATE 11/9/12: A friend recently gave me a birthday present: a 42" plasma screen from Samsung. Yep, same specs as this one. Not too bad in terms of image quality. I saw them side by side and the LG wins by a landslide...don't even come close. This TV is definitely the "special" TV you see in the store. And the TV still works great! Want a reasonably large TV for ' an amazing price? Look no further - it's here. At first I was a little worried about connecting the TV to the network. I didn't see what it looked like, I couldn't find the same model in stores and I was afraid it wouldn't quite fit my existing room. Well, based on the good reviews I've read here, I decided to give it a try. This TV is simply a STEAL for the price. To be with start, really because of the energy saving that LCD offers, but plasma is cheaper. If you like to watch sports or games (a lot action well) plasma can give you that for less.Comparative action t you'll pay a bit more for an LCD TV with anti-fade. It's easy to install - I'm a little girl who doesn't know much about manual labor and can put it together with a screwdriver in about ten minutes. 2. Subtle and bright glory. This is a very SMART frame. It is sleek, elegant and looks like a very stylish TV. 3. Eliminate motion blur. Forget the 1200Hz refresh rate. 600Hz is enough on this TV... I'm a hardcore gamer and soccer fan and I don't see any motion blur. This was one of my biggest concerns when looking for a TV, maybe this will help you figure it out. Bright, bright colors. If you were in a retail store with a lot of TVs, you'd point it out and say, "Wow! That's great." That's just fine.5. This is huge!! - Well, if you know the size of TVs well, it doesn't matter to you. But if so, I live in an 800 square foot 1 bedroom apartment with a normal size living room and this TV looks HUGE. Actually, I was thinking maybe 50 inches before I bought it, but it's the perfect size! Disadvantages are generally the same for all plasmas. It is deformed in light, absorbs a lot of energy, etc. There is a power saving option for this TV but to be honest the picture is not good when it is on. When I watch TV, I want the best quality! However, I did not notice an increase in the electricity bill. This TV is very dusty like other TVs and you have to dust it twice a day. My boyfriend is also VERY picky about TV and is big on sports. He was very careful about posting it online, but now he's in love with it. Watch sports all the time and never complain (and trust me, that's saying a lot!) THEN - if you're looking for a great big TV that eliminates virtual motion blur and a sharp picture at an affordable price, get this one !
