Well, I can't believe I'm the first to write a review on this little guy. I received mine yesterday and am very happy. If you read carefully, it does everything on the list. It is very nice and has three adapters: VGA, USB and a built-in audio and video cable. It was brighter than I expected and connected easily to my Vista laptop with no problems. The included video encoder works as advertised (although I'm not sure why it can't play standard MP4 videos...), and photos load fine. The interface is very intuitive. I bought a cheap tripod (~$12) and I'm glad - it's so small it's hard to aim properly without it. To be honest, it's not very good for someone who works with a projector every day; you need better resolution and more light. But for the average fan at home, it's perfect. For temporary use with a laptop or video or for photo slideshows. The room is smaller than I expected without it. The size of the phone is not excessive. At $250, this is a gadget to consider in your arsenal!

I ordered this and the 3M Pro 120 for comparison and for me the MP is the better choice. The menu selection wheel on the Optoma looks funny (hard to pick what you want) and is in a bad position relative to where the driver is plugged into the computer. I connected it to my MacBook and had to manually change the screen resolution to get the projector to work. The final issue for me is the internal memory and the video player - a great option for Mac users when it works - requires a proprietary video encoder that you download to your PC and don't seem to want to install on your Mac. . Running system Snow Leopard System. The Optoma is smaller, cheaper, and brighter than the 3M projector, and I like the style of the device better than the 3M projector, but if you're a Mac user, you might want to consider other options.

The product was shipped quickly and packaged perfectly - very small, comfortable and refillable. But that's the only decent thing I can say about him. The image quality is bad! I cannot stress this enough. I had to completely cover the room and it was impossible to use it for a clear sales presentation, and then the image was blurry, washed out and small. Guys, this product needs a lot of work. If I could give zero stars I would be happy. Don't waste your money on it. I'll have to wait a few more years before trying again. Too bad because I really want it. I returned my purchase to Amazon.
