I was skeptical about this TV as it is not an LED model, just a standard backlit LCD. However, 1080p is sharp, bright, and incredibly bright. The TV itself is very thin and not too heavy. I was frustrated with the darkness until I changed the "Eco" setting. When "Eco" mode is activated, the TV adjusts its brightness according to the ambient light, but it cannot increase the maximum brightness of the lamp even at the brightest level. You must disable this mode, and only then the lights will light up as they should. Now it's clear, crisp, bright and sounds even better! It also has a USB port for playing MP3 files and photo slide shows. However, the music player interface is quite old and limited. Loading MP3 files and photos to a USB drive and using the built-in interface to listen to music through the USB port is a joke. It's best to get an Apple TV or something to wirelessly stream music to this TV. Features: - Quite lightweight - Easy to install - Good and easy to use remote control - Excellent picture quality - 3 HDMI ports. - Composite and single component video input - "Eco" mode enabled by default. This must be turned off to obtain the desired brightness. The sound quality from the built-in speakers is a little muddy. (No problem if you have a separate speaker system.) - The power cord is too short. (But I've had a much longer identical device to another in the house that works. It's a standard power cord.) - USB-connected music players with functional photo slideshow capabilities, but they're old, ugly, and hard to use. .
