Bottom line: reasonable service, but in case of confusion, be sure to use 888-804-7726 instead of Amazon or Dish customer service. The representatives who called to arrange the appointment were very kind and helpful. The technicians called ahead to confirm the time and ended up doing a thorough and painstaking job of installing the TV. However, they had a "free install" work order that didn't say "includes wall mount bracket and HDMI cable". They wanted to know how he would pay them. I directed them to amazon.com (which is right in the title), but to no avail. I ended up talking to the DASH call center representatives who were not helpful. they knew nothing about working with Amazon and my request to speak to a manager was not honored. I contacted Amazon customer service who was a very nice guy and tried to help but his word didn't matter to the people at Dish. After an hour of frustration at 75% installation interruption, I tried the number above. It turns out this is a particular problem for this association and they immediately knew what to do. After several attempts, he managed to satisfy the team with the work assignment. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I will call this number immediately.

I purchased the DISH On-Wall setup at the same time as I bought the Panasonic Plasma 65 "from Amazon. The first thing I called DISH and talked to someone for an appointment and answered a few questions about the type of TV, the wall type They told me that putting it in a brick fireplace would not be a problem and also that the Panasonic plasma due to its weight would take a double heavy duty support in due course. , then called their inspector to check the masonry due to the uneven surface and the weight of the plasma (over 100lbs) exerting too much force on the brick. He said he would find a solution, using epoxy / longer screws for mounting on the wall, or by following another route and mounting the tv on the ceiling. Anyway, it was fine with me. Another week went by before I heard about his installation option. ion on the roof said I could order a black Sanus mount that sells for around $ 200 on Amazon (Sanus Systems LC1A-B1 tilt and swivel ceiling mount for large 37- to 70-inch flat screen TVs). I also did some research and found a similarly priced commercial white powder ceiling mount from Atdec (Atdec TH-3070-CTW mount for 30 "to 70" LCD and plasma for £ 200). I have emailed the cutouts and assembly parts. It handled more weight, had four screw tips instead of two, had a wider range of motion, and in my opinion it also looked more attractive, so I ordered it with approval from the DISH executive. He said if I wanted an Atdec mount I would have to pay out of my own pocket first and then DISH would refund me. An additional HDMI cable has also been added for convenience. Going back to the installation, it took a few weeks for Atdec support to arrive and DISH came out to install it. This time it took about 2-3 hours to find a place for the ceiling beam, install the lamp, connect the cables, install the TV and set up. However, the installer did not have the cable covers as shown in the brochure photos, so he had to collect them from the warehouse and return them the next day to finish them. There were no joints or fasteners, so the finished product looked unfinished. . He said he would be back in a week to finish it properly, but he never did. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. Another two weeks passed and I contacted the installer and sent the installation images. He admitted it was unfinished. You haven't heard of the faulty installer. He said he would receive additional pieces of the hood and would be out in a few days to finish. True to his word, he went out and finished the assembly by sawing off a few small pieces to create a 90 degree bevel. I think it did a good job, although some might think it looks a bit rough. The installers also ran my speaker cable under the floor, drilled holes in the hardwood floor, and coordinated the installation in the basement below. TO SEE THE PHOTOS. Overall, I was very happy with the finished installation, with the exception of the no. 5 below. I think this job was atypical because of the bricks and problems that come with it. I heard we made a good decision by placing the TV on the ceiling instead of the fireplace. It took about a month and several visits from start to finish to get it all done. But, in the end, I think we made the right choice. I give them less than 5 stars for the following reasons. 1. A refund for the original wall mount ($ 99) or an out of pocket refund for the ceiling mount ($ 215) is pending. The general feeling is that they were inexperienced in some details of the installation, eg. as for masonry and that the reinforcement is suitable for this application. 3. Do not have the correct spare parts for cable covers and elbows on hand 4. Failure to complete 100% of the work and failure to fulfill all obligations 5. The arrival was on time, they explained to me what they would do. Everything is arranged correctly, the threads are in order. I couldn't believe how much free space I had left after installation. They also fixed my home theater and made sure there were no dangling cables.
