four LG is underrated.
my lord
I had a great experience buying a new HDTV last month. I was looking in the sub $1000 range, looking for a 40-42 inch LED model and did a lot of research before settling on the Samsung UN40C6300. I initially chose Samsung over LG because of the in-store image comparison and Samsung's great reputation for reliability. LED for years, the Edge was a pioneer in lighting and became the king of HDTVs. When I bought my kit through Amazon (it was really easy to install) I was immediately shocked and disappointed by the worst backlight leakage of the Samsung model. I've never seen it on any LCD TV./ It showed up on the monitor...after further research into the matter I realized that Samsung now exports the panels and I'm stuck with the horrible Chinese CN02 panel. It always gets the best panel, but this clever bait-and-switch should be illegal, needless to say, with the CN02 panel's terrible viewing angles and terrible bleed (baseball-sized blobs spread throughout the image). (sprinkled). Frustrated, I immediately set up an exchange with Amazon and started researching again. Digging deeper on Amazon, I found the LG 42LE5400, which Samsung says is $4 more than the previous model. What surprised me about this TV compared to its predecessor: 1) The price is the same. 2) Research has proven that there is no panel lottery and LG uses excellent IPS panels. 3) Large 2 inch screen 4) Latest NetCast apps) 5) Wide range of inputs including integrated input 6) Matte screen (Yes, glossy looks better, but I can't watch TV through glass.) C Easy to shop through Amazon was . I've always been impressed with their policies and after they pulled the awful Samsung model and the new LG panel fell apart I got it fixed and I was happy but it was to be expected and due to the lack of reflection. Certified IPS panel I can't comment on Audio because I always use a home theater receiver and never use the built-in speaker sensor (I did this because I really like the dimming of the screen. Why do you need it if you reduce it to zero? Unless you have an LED screen ?).Even backlight.Power and function buttons have clear animations and full controls to eliminate annoying logo backlight when viewed in the dark. Tap ROM. My only complaints about this panel are: 1) There is some glare in the upper right and lower left corners. It makes blacks a little gray in general areas, but nowhere (and I'm nowhere) as bad as the Samsung. I guess this is just a limitation of the Edge-Lite panel. 2) NetCast does not include Pandora, although all of LG's websites mention Pandora. I think it's a huge disappointment that they only include this in Blu-ray receivers/players. It should be called "Netcast Lite". Honestly, I rate this panel 4.5/5 due to slight backlight blur. I think all brands should be more careful about this, but this panel was better than the others, so I'll move on. I was a little disappointed with the NetCast difference. Plus, I'm glad he's finally put the whole fiasco behind him. LG has gone above and beyond with its TV, far superior to its Samsung counterpart, with no surprises, no gimmicks and many more features in the same price range. Unless something goes wrong (or they start cheating and switching like Samsung) LG is the new TV brand.

four Great driver, but lag is a problem with video games; Adjustable audio sync
Not just the Yeti.
This is a great TV - amazing picture and features. Picture brightness is excellent - I use it in a bright living room (the TV has windows on both sides) and the LED screen is bright enough to see without problems. .- Very good overall performance: let's say I am satisfied with the picture quality, the number of inputs (several on the side for easy access), the clean "mute" function (low power consumption), the ability to play music CDs. . . On my DVD player and I don't need to watch stupid DVD music demos etc. The sound is corrected by the firmware: as mentioned before, after 45 minutes or 1 hour, the sound is not synchronized with the picture; This seems to be equally true for all resources. It wouldn't be bad after a while, but it was bad enough to look twisted. My first method is to switch to another login and go back into the app and it syncs again. But after updating the software over the internet, this problem went away. A few notes: ~ It took me a long time to connect to the Internet; Although it happened in the DHCP plug-in, I had to toggle the wireless interface on/off to get the TV's IP address. ~ I had to press the "netcast" or "widget" button on the remote to activate the firmware update. I think the TV is automatically checking for the update at this point. ~ It took two consecutive software updates to get the latest version (I think it was 6.0). - Significant delay for video games - a tenth of a second or a little more (after some measurements and calculations). This is acceptable for most games, but every note I play in Wii Music is off-beat, and in Dance Dance Revolution, the perfect move is rated between "excellent" and "good." (This is the delay between when the signal is received and when it is actually displayed - for standard TV it doesn't matter because if the entire movie is delayed by 0.1 second, it will never be displayed. Note "delay delay" * * does not refer to "time pixel response" .) ~ [Lag on other models: I took Wii Music to Best Buy and tried it on the same models I thought. The Samsung LEDs I tested had ~0.10 seconds of lag. Sony Bravia LED has ~0.06s lag (still visible); There was no noticeable lag on the LCD Viera or Sharp Aquos *LCD*, but (surprisingly) there was (~0.10s) lag on the Sharp Aquos *LED*. All the models I tested were 40-46 inches; Most of them were 120 Hz. I hope all the time I spent measuring helps someone else!] This is for a 42 inch LG5400; It's 2010. July 15.

3 Picture quality is good, but wireless readiness is abysmal.
Pallab Ghosh Chowdhury
So far the picture quality is good for me, I've never owned an LCD or LED TV before. So anything better than CRTV is wow for me. So I don't want to write too much about the picture quality. There is something that makes me feel betrayed. Nowhere in the product description does it say that the "Wireless Ready" feature only works when you use a wireless USB adapter made by LG, not any other wireless USB adapter. I bought this internet enabled TV with the hope of using another USB wireless dongle for the bargain price of $15. I was surprised to find out that I have to use the LG adapter, which is now only available on Amazon for $80. So while buying this product, keep in mind that you have to spend 80 rupees more for Netcast and netflix to work. Another option is to connect the computer to the TV via HDMI or AVI. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision.
