What do you do when your British relative sends you a Christmas present in the form of a PAL video? You can try playing it on a computer, but most DVD drives limit the number of times you can play it before you lock into a particular video format. If you are really a geek, you can try converting to NTSC. My simple solution was to buy a Sharp All Region Blu-ray DVD player that is compatible with my 60" Sharp Echos LED TV. Easy setup Plug in the included HDMI cable to connect the player to your TV, insert your DVD in PAL format and enjoy next year's Masterpiece Theater night. Now I can watch any English videos that are not available in NTSC format without trying to convert them or lock my computer's DVD drive to PAL format. This player is a great solution that can put an end to the frustration of dealing with different video formats because it works well with all major US DVD, Blu-ray and 3D formats and with all other video formats in other regions. . Globalism. I'm really glad I made this purchase and I look forward to hours of beloved British comedy.

I retired from the US Army so I have DVDs from all over the world. Region Free DVD, Codec Free and Blu-ray Playing DVD PAL on NTSC TV and DVDR+ so I have four DVDs and setting them up to watch movies is a nightmare. I was looking for a DVD player, I could try it several times but couldn't find the right one for me until I found this one very easy to use unlike many old ones like Blue-Ray discs. Encoded in 3D and the player is Full HD 1080p crystal clear. With built-in Wi-Fi, this player works with your home network and all you need is an internet connection. It plays DVDR-, DVDR+, and RW.
