5 PIP and Samsung services and registration tips
Namaste
I love the new 51 inch Samsung PN51E6500 3D Smart Plasma HDTV! To avoid repetition, I will leave comments on the main features to other reviewers and try to cover other areas that may be useful. When these first came out, I had a really hard time finding information about the PIP, so for those wondering, here's a picture (PIP). It is hidden in the system menu. The screen isn't split (sad!), Both windows are the same size and it's a single monitor, so you can't easily watch two streaming sources, but you can have a workout DVD while someone else is in the window (let's say) watching the news or a soap opera or a football match. Of course, you can only hear audio from one input at a time. I haven't tried using the antenna as an input or using the extra features of the Blu-ray player as an input, but I suspect there are other ways to change the inputs. I highly recommend registering your HDTV on Samsung's website as they give you an additional 3 months warranty to do so. If you think it doesn't make sense, let me tell you my story. I had a 2010 Samsung PN50C680G5FXZA that I bought around Christmas 2010. In January 2012 the power problems started that would normally be out of warranty, but luckily I registered the TV and got another 3 months. cover! Samsung sent a technician to fix the problem. The card has been replaced, but the problem persists. So he ordered multiple parts, but Samsung has a policy that they need to be repaired within a certain amount of time, so I called support and they asked for a refund or exchange. I had a look at the support staff for a while, but with some tenacity I was able to find a trade-in for a 2012 model with equivalent (or better) functionality (they didn't have a 2011 model in stock). This is the HDTV I am reviewing. It goes without saying that I am very happy with the end result of my Samsung support experience. Don't forget to sign up for another three months of warranty coverage! I am my husband's only assistant, I have early onset Alzheimer's and don't have time to write a lot of reviews, so please consider this review if you find it helpful. thank you,

I have spent a lot of time discussing this set and the Panasonic ST50, freaking out and browsing AV specific sites like HDTVtest, AVS and AV. Without doing research online, I would go to different stores and personally see the relevant parts. It was a long process and I finally pulled out that particular collection. Yes, the Panasonic has excellent black levels. It's true. However, little. Some people may be concerned about this small improvement, while others may not. It wasn't good enough for me personally. I needed all the value that Panasonic couldn't provide. The E6500 offers better input lag, better motion handling, better color reproduction perfect for HD sources like cable providers or streaming apps, better glare filter and more. Another selling point for me is what most professional AV sites have noticed: excellent image retention. I have not seen anything. It is a really nice collection. The picture quality is amazing, the Smart TV features are solid, and of course the 60-inch size offers a truly immersive experience. The design of the collection is also very beautiful. The AR filter works well and everything is bright with no visible reflections which could be a plasma illusion. Here's what I mean: Invest in a home theater system or home theater in a box or soundbar. for? The speakers are not very good. The sound output is too low, not deep enough. I have to turn up the volume for this set. Also, if you're investing in a 60-inch TV, you might as well invest in a good sound system, in my opinion. I can't address some of the issues affecting the Panasonic model, which is great by the way. Problems like persistent image retention, vertical streaks and dirty screen effects. Not everyone will have these issues, as it looks like a panel lottery, but I've read enough complaints about them over the past year to consider it my top pick. I have also seen some of these problems in the store, but not on Samsung. Speaking of the lottery, yes that's right, some people can get a "buzzer". Some people are strong, some are weak, and some are not. I'm happy to say mine has no buzz. If you get a buzz, Amazon has a great return and exchange policy. Just change it. Fortunately, I don't need it. Again, Samsung and Panasonic are a great combination. You can't go wrong. It's a question of what you can live with and what you can do without. This is just a customer advice.

from them Great TV with one big flaw
Delightfully delicious
This TV has incredible picture quality, blacks and is bright enough that you can watch it during the day without blocking the windows. However, in any light scene, it emits electronic noise. This ham gets incredibly loud when watching 3D content, even at quite high volumes. 3D has very noticeable crosstalk in high contrast environments, where white text on a black background is almost unreadable in 3D. The TV itself is beautiful, but I can't believe Samsung hasn't resolved the hype caused by the 2011 model with the new 2012 models.
