I bought this TV a few weeks ago. Overall very good: easy setup, good photo, good power. The sound is very good for general use, but if you prefer to get a speaker for better sound. Also, I don't know if it's just our internet connection, but Netflix keeps reloading on this TV which I've almost never had a problem using on an older TV with a Wii. My main concern is how long it takes to turn on the TV, a 10 second delay. I would like to see room for more component units. Without a switch, we had to constantly change cables for the DVD player, N64, and Wii because they weren't compatible with HDMI. However, don't let some of these knots put you off; The good qualities outweigh the bad for me. I love being able to connect the display wirelessly (ideal for showing videos or photos online) and there are lots of great preloaded apps. I'm not sure I'll have enough time to learn enough to use it to its full potential. Overall, a good buy and a good price! Pros: graphics, easy setup, easy to use, built-in apps, features, affordable. Cons: Slow charging, no input for non-HDMI components, Netflix charging Recommended accessories: HDMI cable, switch box components (for older electronics), type. on the wireless app keyboard, a great vision insurance plan (as long as you want to drive the TV!).

I bought this TV because it has built-in Wi-Fi, but I'm very impressed with all aspects. The picture quality is great, it's very energy efficient ($14 in annual energy costs), and the internet add-ons and apps are great. This is my first Philips TV and I think my next TV will also be Philips. Overall, I'm very impressed.

As a prudent buyer
I'm still working on this review, but after 24 hours I love this set. The disadvantages have already been mentioned: it takes a very long time to start (seriously, like 15 seconds). It hangs pretty heavy on my wall at over 33 pounds. Pros: Great picture, less motion blur with soccer balls than other LED kits. The sound is a little better than other devices, maybe not important for someone with a receiver, but I'm glad to have it for myself in the kitchen. Overall this is a 4 star due to my comments above. Update 1/13/2012: Still slow to start and still heavy, but saved (after two more laps). Among other things, I have no problem with the wifi socket.
