I bought this product about a year ago and I love it. I live in a small apartment and it controls everything: my TV, BluRay player, cable TV, 5.1 receiver, AC, ceiling fan, and even my lights (if you have an IR switch and a plug). I love that I can program multiple actions at the touch of a virtual button with a fully customizable layout. There's also one for my mom who doesn't know how to use multiple remotes for all her devices. Now simple, easy and controlled from your smartphone. Now she can turn on the lights and the TV before walking in the door. The companion program is constantly updated. Yes, there are some issues and glitches that are fixed VERY quickly. I can honestly say I've never had a major problem and I can't complain about minor concerns with ANY product. It's a great little device and I've never seen anything so easy to use. Once you learn how to program all-in-ones and buttons, you'll need them instead of searching through all your old remotes.

The device connected to my Wi-Fi network and performed basic home theater commands in about 30 minutes. We recommend watching the tutorial videos on the ThinkFlood website, they make it very easy. After about 3 hours I have full control over every device on my system (5 of them). Once installed, RedEye is easy to control from any i-device, just open the RedEye app and it will sync automatically. Again, check the manual before installing this. If something is not clear, read the instructions. All information is there. It's a great product, but it's not plug and play. Take your time, be patient... you will be very happy in the end.

I can't say enough good things about this device. I had a very rough start due to a software bug in the iPhone app, but once that was fixed everything worked flawlessly. If I detail what I think of Thinkflood customer service, you'll think I work for the company or have some other ulterior motive. Sarah, the technician who handles my bug reports, usually responds to my emails within 15-30 minutes and always provides enough information to help me. I'm a developer and I bought a device to write my own Android management app. It's a good decision for now. The online documentation is fantastic. Whether you are a developer or not, you should take the time to READ THIS. You can *start* with just a quick guide, but these tools are quite complex, so you need to understand what you're getting into to get the most out of them. I found a database of available devices. be very complete. the built-in search function was compatible with my two Samsung TVs, my old satellite box, and even my iMac (nice to sit on the couch and control my Mac from my iPhone). I found a few commands missing, but the "learn" function works fine, although I made a mistake that may have been propagated by reading some bad reviews; the device only remembers infrared commands... using the wireless remote will cause. You'll be very disappointed before you realize you're wrong :-) One of my favorite features is controlling Redeye via a web browser. I have a laptop on my coffee table... I can control any device in my house by pointing Safari or Firefox to the IP address of the embedded web server. If you have at least basic web programming skills, you can easily create your own web pages to run your home. Again, Thinkflood's customer support and documentation are great if you're into this sort of thing. Before UPS ships me my new Android tablet, I can prototype my custom Android remote app in a web browser. Amazon sent me a device with a European power adapter. When I reported this to Thinkflood support, they gave me a US compatible adapter for free. Did I mention the excellent customer service? :-) One of the nicest and most useful "toys" I've bought from Amazon.
